Privacy Policy

Okay Universe LLC (“Okay Universe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates okayuniverse.com and the Okay Universe storefront. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Contact and account information: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and account or order details.
- Order and transaction information: products or services purchased, variants, prices, discounts, taxes, fulfillment status, returns, support messages, and limited payment-status information. Shopify and payment providers handle full payment-card details; we do not receive your full card number.
- Service-project information: recordings, stems, reference tracks, notes, project preferences, delivery files, and communications you choose to send for mixing or mastering work.
- Marketing information: the email address you submit, signup source, consent and unsubscribe status, and basic timestamps.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate region, performance data, and interactions with the site or storefront.
How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you place an order, join a list, contact us, submit project files, or otherwise use an interactive feature. We also collect limited information automatically through site and commerce technology, and receive information from service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, fulfillment partners, carriers, analytics providers, and email providers.
How we use information
- provide the site, process payments, accept and fulfill orders, and deliver services;
- communicate about orders, production, shipping, files, support, returns, and refunds;
- maintain the email list and send release or merchandise updates you requested;
- personalize and improve the site, catalog, customer experience, and site reliability;
- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms;
- keep business, tax, accounting, rights, and transaction records; and
- comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect customers, artists, and Okay Universe.
Shopify commerce
Our store and secure checkout are powered by Shopify. When you view store products, add an item to cart, or check out, Shopify processes information needed to provide commerce and payment services. Shopify may use cookies and similar technologies for essential checkout, security, preferences, analytics, and other purposes described in its policies and the choices presented in checkout.

When we share information
We share only what is reasonably necessary with vendors that help us operate, including:
- Shopify and payment providers for storefront, fraud screening, checkout, and payment processing;
- Printify, its print providers, and shipping carriers for made-to-order production and delivery;
- Supabase and Resend for requested email-list records and email delivery;
- Vercel for hosting, performance, security, and privacy-focused site analytics;
- Meta for advertising measurement and audience matching, subject to the choices described below;
- Metricool for cookie-less website visit and approximate-region analytics. Our integration sends only the public page address without query parameters or fragments; it does not send the referring page or set cookies. Metricool also receives network information such as your IP address to estimate country. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep this image tracker off. See the Metricool Privacy Policy;
- professional advisers and authorities when reasonably required for legal, tax, safety, or fraud matters; and
- a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information for an automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If applicable law treats a particular analytics or commerce disclosure as a “sale” or “sharing,” you may exercise the opt-out rights provided by the relevant service or contact us.
Optional advertising measurement
Public website
On our public website, we use our own Meta Pixel (dataset 2326671261436776) only after you choose Allow under Advertising cookies in our privacy controls. Meta can receive the public page URL, campaign tags, device and network information, cookie identifiers, and the actions you take on measured links. This helps measure visits and music-service clicks and build audiences of interested visitors. A music-service click does not confirm a stream; a checkout handoff does not confirm a purchase. We do not send contact form fields or use automatic advanced matching in this public website integration.
Choose Decline to keep this pixel off, or reopen Privacy choices in the footer to withdraw permission. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by keeping this integration off. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days; when storage is unavailable it applies only to the current page. Withdrawing permission stops future pixel events here and removes our first-party Meta cookies; it does not erase information already received by Meta. Music and shopping links work without advertising tracking.
Shopify store and checkout
Our Shopify store uses the Facebook & Instagram by Meta channel’s Enhanced data sharing level with our Meta Pixel. This combines the pixel, advanced matching, and Meta’s Conversions API. It can share store browsing and checkout activity, completed-purchase events and order values, and available customer name, location, email address, and phone number with Meta to match activity to Meta users, measure advertising, and build audiences. Browser and server sharing are subject to Shopify’s customer privacy and consent settings.
Use Shopify’s cookie banner and privacy controls to manage advertising sharing in checkout. Your public website choice is stored separately and is not automatically transferred to Shopify checkout.

Email and marketing choices
We send promotional email only when you request it or another lawful basis applies. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. Transactional messages about an order or service may still be sent after you unsubscribe from marketing.
Cookies and local storage
The main site uses limited analytics and browser storage for requested functionality. Shopify checkout and third-party embeds may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. You can control many cookies through browser settings and any privacy controls displayed by the relevant service; blocking essential storage can prevent checkout or other features from working.
Embedded media and outside links
The site may embed or link to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, TIDAL, and social platforms. Opening, playing, or interacting with those services can allow them to receive device and usage information. Their own privacy policies govern that activity.
OKAY/TRAIN local workout data
OKAY/TRAIN stores workout information locally in your browser or device using localStorage. This can include plan progress, dates, sets, reps, weights, completed-exercise flags, session timers, reset state, export timestamps, and training notes. This information is not cloud-synced by Okay Universe unless a future version clearly introduces account-based sync and explains the change before use.
You can export, import, reset, or delete OKAY/TRAIN data from the training interface. Local deletion affects only the browser or device you are using, not other devices, backups, or files you previously exported.
Okay Health iOS app
Okay Health, our native OKAY/TRAIN iPhone app, stores training data locally on your device. The current app has no account system, analytics, or third-party advertising SDKs, and Okay Universe does not collect that app data. Sharing and export features send data only where you explicitly choose. The website and store practices described elsewhere in this Policy do not apply to local app data.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including fulfilling orders and services, maintaining opt-out records, resolving disputes, and meeting tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable law. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or an appeal, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have a right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Send a request to info@okayuniversellc.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe the right you want to exercise and the email or order information needed to locate your records. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit a request where allowed by law, subject to verification. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision.
International processing
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection rules differ from those where you live. Where required, providers use approved legal mechanisms for international transfers.
Children
The site and store are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request deletion.
Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal duties. The current version is identified by the date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
